" Music is the central point of my work, I am a composer, but my wider objective is to create a "visual background" for my music, making it multi-layered. My goal is to integrate my music with my poetry, philosophy and lyrics and set this visually to represent a point in time from my life, creating a fusion between what is autobiographical at its core and fiction. What is autobiographical and what is fiction in my work? You decide. I write the music, I write the words, I write the poetry, I sing, play, record and produce all the music. Finally I shoot and edit a video to represent the idea. Although this individual approach often produces imperfect results, I am more interested in the purity of the idea, thus everything you see and hear has been created by me and this is the absolute key point to my work. All the music I write comes together as shapes in my hands on the piano and guitar, I then memorize these shapes visually, but the music in my head is not in shapes or notes, I hear it as "swirls" of noise, within layers of sound."
